The Cepha mobile application and the Internet Web site located at cepha.ai (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") are collectively owned and operated by Goalspal LLC. The purpose of this study is to analyze certain symptoms common in the early stages of PD. Participants must be over the age of 18, however, even those not affected by PD can join. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
We do NOT ask for your name, email, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information
We only collect the voice sample that you record for 10 seconds during the dysphonia data collection activity for each session
We only collect accelerometer data for under 1 minute in total during the tremor data collection activity for each session
We collect the self-reported information that you share at the end of each session
We may collect your iPhone model and iOS version
Cepha uses the collected data for various purposes...
To analyze the accuracy of iPhone sensors in data collection and to investigate certain symptoms of PD
Ultimately, to create diagnostic tools powered by artificial intelligence that may accelerate early intervention in the disease
To provide analysis or valuable information so that we can improve the Service
To monitor the usage of the Service
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues
Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to the United States and process it there.
